Freelancer.com Acquires LimeExchange!

Today we are pleased to announce that we have acquired LimeExchange,
the online services marketplace run by LimeLabs LLC.

The 80,000 members of LimeExchange will be migrated across to our platform,
further enriching our growing online community.

The acquisition further secures Freelancer as the world's largest
online services marketplace and our existing Freelancer community will
benefit immensely from this transaction. Employers will have access
to a much deeper pool of talent and Freelancers will benefit from
the increasing number of projects being posted.

Happy New Year! - Special Gift to our Freelancers

As we are drawing close to the end of 2010 we want to wish
you all a very Happy New Year. We would also like to thank each
and every one of our users for making Freelancer.com what it is today.
Our explosive growth in 2010 is all due to your hard work when freelancing,
creativeness when posting projects and willingness to spread the word
about Freelancer.com.

As a special thank you present we will be opening up trial projects to
all Freelancers. Generally, Trial projects can only be bid on by unrated
Freelancers but for the next 30 days we will be allowing even our more
experienced Freelancers to bid.

Happy Bidding!

Freelancer.com Documentary Team Needs You!

The Freelancer.com documentary team needs your stories of how Freelancer.com
affects you, and how you use the website.

We are looking for stories that are anything from heart warming to hilarious,
powerful to profitable. However you use the site, we want to know about it.

The Freelancer.com video team will be travelling the world in 2011, and could
be coming to meet you. Anyone who is chosen will be in the first ever Freelancer.com
documentary and will receive full credits, along with your user name so people
will know where to find you. It's like advertising your special skill set for free!

All you need to do is write to us at documentary@freelancer.com with your
story about your life, how Freelancer affects you, how you use Freelancer
and anything else that you think we'll find interesting. We'll do the rest.

But that's not all. In true Freelancer.com style, we are looking for your
skills too! We need motion graphics people, translators, video editors,
musicians, colour graders to collaborate with us for this project. And the
reward for doing this? Not only will you get the opportunity to be part of
the very first Freelancer.com documentary, but we will provide you with your
very own Documentary Contributor Insignia, AND put your name and username in
the video's credits so everyone will see your skills.

So submit your stories or what you can offer to the video and reap the rewards.

We're waiting for YOU!

Email us at documentary@freelancer.com
